Last weekend was spent at the Kenyan coast for a destination wedding of movie-like proportions. My dear friend and co-worker, Jess, married her Swedish hunk surrounded by 17 close friends. It was a picturesque setting as we stayed at a house together and celebrated all weekend. The reception was even spent in our swimming suits, taking dips between dinner courses of lobster, crab, and prawns. Here's a little peak at the glorious weekend...I was blessed to do another friend's hair for her big day - it's tradition!

Laughter and sweat were abundant!
We danced to the rhythm of an African band in the sand. The instruments were all hand made and there was a Caribbean feel to the beat.

Check it out--you got to wear your dress! And you look just as great as always. You make teaching look like a glamorous adventure now that you're in Kenya (of course, I know better). Tell John and Erin I say hi from Kentucky. :)
