New Job!

On Friday I accepted a teaching position at Braeburn School in Nairobi. I'll be teaching Year 4 at this British school. Things I am looking forward to with this new position...

Experience in the British school system

New friends

New part of town to experience new restaurants and hang-outs

New challenges professionally

The Club, a work-out facility with pool, weight equipment, and more

A pub on campus (I think this is Will's favorite part.)

Thank you to all who prayed for job opportunities to open. God is faithful and good to me, as He always is. It will be interesting to see where God takes us from here... It's an adventure!

  1. Wahoo! Glad it's officially official before you head out on holiday. I can't wait to hear all of the new lingo you pick up from working in the British system. Even looking at the website there were a few things like "What's On" that made me smile thinking about friends from that part of the world. I met a guy from the UK last week who thought it was the funniest thing that Americans wear tennis shoes with jeans (just a tip how not to make a good first impression). Thinking about you guys LOTS this week!
